Benjamin is an award-winning filmmaker and cameraman, happy to work both independently and collaboratively in varied and extreme environments. Past work includes photography for the multi award winning documentary Jago: A Life Underwater, Rise of the Warrior Apes, and Frozen Planet II. Most recently Ben worked as the Director of Photography on Netflix’s 4 part series Chimp Empire. He has experience with long lens natural history, stabilised camera systems and is a CAA approved drone operator. Ben is known for the cinematic look he brings to his work, across documentary, advertising and adventure films, as well as his eagerness to get stuck in.

As an adventure filmmaker, Ben combines a passion for beautiful places and wildlife with a fascination for how our experience is shaped by our environment. Ben is continually exploring the potential of adventure filmmaking to not only show human acts of heroism - conquering rivers or mountains - but also to raise awareness of environmental issues in the wilderness that we love.

Benjamin’s current projects include a feature documentary for Silverback Features (Netflix), Director of Photography on a conservation episode for BBC Kingdoms and shoots for “Home” a National Geographic series produced by BBC Studios.
